The Christmas vacation period is usually the time when the school term ends for the Christmas break. It usually starts a few days, sometimes a week or so before Christmas day and ends about a week after the New Year. Taking a Christmas break is usually relevant for high school, college and university students and often office workers who are encouraged to take holidays at this time of he year.
